We are helping implement new solutions in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Despite regulations in place since 2019, accessibility in public spaces and cultural life remains a challenge - particularly for people with visual impairments.

“Lower Silesian Innovations – transfer of good practices and implementation of innovative solutions for people with disabilities” is a project aimed at improving accessibility in these areas for blind and partially sighted individuals.

In 2026–2027, we will carry out activities based on proven European solutions. First, we will learn from accessibility leaders in Vienna, Athens, and Vilnius, and then we will implement innovative projects in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

Micro-navigation systems, multisensory technologies, and new accessibility standards in culture and education represent tangible changes in the shared spaces we all use. The project not only addresses existing gaps but also lays the foundations for systemic change - durable, effective, and grounded in the real needs of the community.

The public task “Lower Silesian Innovations – transfer of good practices and implementation of innovative solutions for people with disabilities” is co-financed by the Self-Government of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
