The Chance Foundation – We Are Together invites all applicants and international partners to an online meeting during which the results of the 3rd Edition of the “We Are Together” Application Competition will be officially announced.
The meeting will take place on 3 July 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) via Microsoft Teams.
The competition was intended for organisations, institutions, and individuals working to improve the quality of life of blind and partially sighted people and their families. Its aim is to support initiatives focused on modern rehabilitation, access to information, social inclusion, and the use of innovative technologies.
This year’s edition attracted significant international interest. Applications were submitted by organisations and individuals representing 27 countries and territories across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania. The applications came from Argentina, Austria, Bangladesh, Chad, Colombia, the Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Eswatini, Fiji, Georgia, Greece, Guinea, Israel, Lebanon, Madagascar, Morocco, the Netherlands, Romania, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Zanzibar (Tanzania).
This broad international participation confirms the growing importance of global cooperation in promoting accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunities for blind and partially sighted people worldwide.
The selected applicants will receive financial support for activities related to active participation in the 24th International Conference REHA FOR THE BLIND IN POLAND, which will take place in Warsaw on 15–16 September 2026, and/or for implementing local initiatives supporting blind and partially sighted communities in their own countries.
The funding recipients have been selected by the Competition Jury following a thorough evaluation of all submitted applications.
