What is the IDOL Competition?
The IDOL Competition has been organised by the Chance Foundation We Are Together since 1999. Its aim is to recognise individuals and institutions whose everyday work, dedication and attitude contribute to building a more accessible world. It is also a way of highlighting good practices and inspiring others to act in the name of equality and accessibility.
"The IDOL Competition is our way of recognising people and institutions that are genuinely changing the lives of blind and partially sighted people, showcasing their successes and challenging stereotypes, while at the same time engaging society in noticing and supporting these efforts," says Marek Kalbarczyk, President of the Chance Foundation We Are Together, founder and organiser of the competition.
